Retain, Support, and Strengthen Your Force with Data-Driven Insights

Police officers standing in line outside a building on a city sidewalk.

Law enforcement agencies face unique challenges in retaining officers, reducing burnout, and maintaining operational efficiency. At Parker Analytics, we use advanced statistical models to predict officer turnover, assess burnout risks, and provide data-backed recommendations to create a more sustainable work environment.

Actionable Insights to Optimize Your Workforce

CALEA Bias-Based Policing Analysis

Providing scientific evidence of judicious enforcement decision-making can be one of the more difficult aspects of CALEA accreditation. Parker Analytics conducts analyses of use of force and traffic stop data in order to test for any possible enforcement biases. The analysis exceeds CALEA accreditation requirements for assessing biased-based policing. All analyses are tested for statistical significance at the 95% confidence level (α=.05). The CALEA Biased-based Policing Analysis can serve as the core of your evidentiary portfolio

Use Of Force Analysis

Developing insight into your agency’s use of force can be the ultimate shield which protects officers and citizens. If your agency struggles to generate scientific use of force analyses that are based on a deep knowledge of the use of force continuum and its real-world applications, Parker Analytics has your solution. Our predictive analytic models not only assess the variations in your uses of force, they also measure the impact of demographic variables on the level of force being used.

Employee Burnout Evaluation

Addressing employee burnout can feel like fighting a never ending battle. Parker Analytics can assess burnout across different dimensions in order to identify which groups of employees are more vulnerable to burnout and provide insight into ways of intervening. Maintaining a healthy, focused enforcement corps is fundamental to protecting the safety and security of our respective jurisdictions.

Employee Attrition Analysis

While employee burnout is an especially problematic concern for modern law enforcement agencies, attrition is a direct threat to your enforcement readiness. Parker Analytics can assess the degree to which your officers and staff are planning to leave your agency. The attrition analyses also create insight into organizational and relational factors which may reverse the attrition trend at your agency.

Grant-Funded Program Review

As a public agency that receives grant funding, it can sometimes be difficult to provide evaluation of grant-funded programs that meet the expectations of funders. Parker Analytics offers a variety of grant-based evaluations which meet or exceed the evaluation requirements of most funders. Our proprietary Program Review contains evaluations which thoroughly examine the structure, process and outcomes of your grant-funded program. We use both quantitative and qualitative metrics to help you see the impact of your work more clearly. The grant-based program review not only helps your agency tell the story of your good work, but also contains growth recommendations which may help extend the reach and impact of your program.

Ongoing Neighborhood Evaluation (ONE)

Perhaps one of the most useful tools at Parker Analytics is the Ongoing Neighborhood Evaluation (ONE). The ONE survey provides a means by which to accurately measure public sentiment about the work your agency is doing in community. The ONE survey contains a variety of metrics which give your constituents a voice to share their concerns and appreciation about your agencies work. Perception of safety, exposure to crime, crime concerns and qualitative comments can all be examined by specific areas of your jurisdiction. This allows law enforcement executives to proactively focus on specific issues of concern in specific areas. The ONE survey takes your law enforcement agency to a new level of strategic enforcement. The ONE survey is available in both English and Spanish.

Traffic Stop Analysis

Developing insight into your agency’s traffic enforcement can be lead to more judicious traffic enforcement. Parker Analytics uses predictive analytic models similar to the use of force modeling, to develop evidence of judicious traffic enforcement. Parker Analytics not only assess the variations in traffic outcomes, but also the impact of demographic variables on traffic stop sanctions such as warning citations or arrest.
